Plastic packaging is manufactured from several different materials and not all councils will accept every material.
- Verify with your local council what recycling services are provided or check here https://www.gov.uk/recycling-collections
- The recycling symbol on the packaging will help you identify the material as suitable for recycling
- Remove or clean any labels, lidding or sealing film and product
- Dispose of the cleaned packaging in the appropriate bin
The parts will be collected by your local authority and sent for reprocessing so that the recycle loop can start again.
